The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
Head of MaintenanceOversees physical set-up and tear-down of all events, responsible for managing all installations, repairs, and general upkeep of operations of fairgrounds including maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance procedures.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations
• Supervise labor crew
• Maintain all machinery to ensure it is at working standards
• Must be able to operate forklift, skid steer, scissor-lift, and other relevant machinery
• Create and implement maintenance procedures
• Conduct regular inspections of fairgrounds to detect and resolve problems
• Document and report to the manager of any equipment or building repair needs
• Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies/parts when necessary
• Oversee set-up & breakdown of events
• Ensure shop space is kept clean and organized
• Must be available to work irregular schedules as needed to ensure the success of events
• Must be able to be on your feet/standing for extended periods
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistanceSafety Sensitive Job
