  • Job Details
  • NEEDED: 3+ years RECENT ADULT ECHOCARDIOGRAM SONOGRAPHY PLUS a REQUIRED current confident level use with PHILLIPS EQUIPMENT AND EPIC EMR.
  • Patient volume 8-10 procedures per day.
  • Responsible for diagnostic cardiac or vascular ultrasound that results in providing the cardiologist with measurements and accurate images of cardiac structures for the physician to provide accurate diagnosis.
  • Provides "immediate feedback" with preliminary reports of critical results to the nurses and physicians in the health system is critical for life-saving treatment intervention.
  • Assists the physician with studies and aids them in proceeding with complex procedures to decrease potential associated procedural risks including procedures in the OR, Cath lab, and CAD to include TEE and pseudoaneurysm compression.

    • CREDENTIALS and EDUCATION REQUIRED: BLS (AHA), plus either a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
    • Graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program strongly preferred.
