Job SummaryAs a Produce Order Writer at Whole Foods Market - Wynnewood, PA, you will be responsible for purchasing and replenishing produce through proper buying procedures. You will also monitor and act upon open PO reports for both purchases and credits in an accurate and timely manner.Key Responsibilities

• Purchasing and Replenishment: Purchase and replenish produce through proper buying procedures to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.
• Inventory Control: Monitor and act upon open PO reports for both purchases and credits in an accurate and timely manner to maintain inventory accuracy and control.
• Merchandising: Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for stocking and merchandising products to create an attractive and inviting store environment.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer needs in a timely and effective manner and modeling suggestive selling techniques to drive sales and customer satisfaction.Requirements
  • Experience: 12+ months retail experience.
  • Skills: Extensive produce product knowledge, including production, distribution, seasonal availability, advances, and trends. Strong basic math skills and ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ordering systems.
