Ultrasound Tech Job DescriptionHillcrest Hospital Cushing seeks a skilled Ultrasound Tech to join our team in Cushing, OK. As a PRN Ultrasound Tech, you will be responsible for operating ultrasound scanners, transporting patients, handling phone calls, and assisting physicians with invasive procedures.Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound scanners to produce high-quality images
• Transport patients to and from the department, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Handle phone calls for scheduling patients, answering questions, and reporting exam results
• Assist physicians with invasive procedures, administering basic C.P.R. as needed
• Help clean rooms and equipment, order supplies, and maintain a high standard of imaging
• Assist with daily operations, including patient prepping and scanning, to maximize smooth patient flow
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and assist with other activities as needed
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients servedQualifications
  • 2-year Associate Degree
  • ARRT or ARDMS registry or eligibility
  • BLS certification
