Responsibilities: ---
---
--- Operate all routine radiographic equipment in a safe and proficient manner.
---
---
--- Maintain a high standard of imaging and positioning to acquire a quality scan.
---
---
--- Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow.
---
---
--- Start an IV line to administer contrast fluid.
---
---
--- Handle patient support equipment, i.e. I.V. pumps and pulse oximeters.
---
---
--- Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions.
---
---
--- Be available for 24-hour call back with a 1-hour response time.
---
---
Qualifications: ---
---
--- Technical or Associate's radiography degree.
---
---
--- Registered or registry eligible with the ARRT.
---
---
--- If registry eligible upon hire, become registered within one year of employment.
---
---
--- Active BLS certification.
---
---
Preferred Job Requirements: ---
---
--- One year of MRI Tech experience.
