Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Prepared Foods Department Supervisor to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Prepared Foods department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and Delegate Tasks: Supervise and delegate tasks to Prepared Foods Team Members, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Train and Develop Team Members: Work with the Prepared Foods Trainer to train Team Members in a manner that builds and sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover.
• Assist with Training and Onboarding: Assist in training of new Team Members, utilizing learning checklists and training materials.
• Maintain a Clean and Organized Department: Keep all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked, and properly rotated.
• Ensure Excellent Customer Service: Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs and direct Team Members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers; respond promptly to customer needs and questions.
• Lead by Example: Foster and encourage a positive environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.Requirements
  • 12+ Months Retail Experience: Must have at least 12 months of retail experience.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Must have strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and develop Team Members.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with Team Members, customers, and management.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.Working Conditions
    • Lifting and Carrying: Must be able to lift 50 pounds and carry items as needed.
    • Standing and Walking: Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
