Reading Truck is now hiring a Continuous Improvement Fabricator in Claremore! -How You Will Make an Impact -This position will collaborate with the Continuous Improvement and Operation Teams to support a variety of improvement projects. In addition to participating on teams and various CI activities, this position will also fabricate and build required equipment or fixtures as required as an outcome of the improvement project and assist in the building or positioning these items on the floor. Will return to previous position upon completion of assignment. - We are a leading manufacturer, distributor and fleet sales expert of premium truck bodies with commercial upfit for vocational markets nationwide. The Nuts and Bolts -Function as a "Team Player" by maintaining a positive attitude and willingness to work in all fields (electrical, plumbing, welding, etc.) including all area's (Machining, Assembly, Air Tool, Facilities); Maintain assignment task lists and reports on progress regularly. Maintain an orderly and safe work area using 5s principles

• Support building and production groups in 5s, Continuous Improvement, and manufacturing engineering projects: build material flow racks, carts, shadow boards, fixtures, work aids, etc. as needed; Identify opportunities for increased reliability, improved process flows & reduced cycle times to meet RTB targets.
  • Support CI team in completing 30. 60, 90-day item, preparing for Kaizen events and Blitz's. Support may include, but not limited to time observations, data collection, measurements, etc.
  • Support Maintenance team; -Required Credentials - 5S / Lean Background
    - -Some fabrication knowledge/understanding a plus
