Job Summary: Anesthesia Technician
Assist professional staff in setting-up, calibrating, disinfecting and operating anesthesia equipment, and order, obtain, stock and distribute anesthesia supplies to carts.
Job Highlights:

• Full-time position with a schedule of 10:30-7pm M-F with call during the week and occasional weekends
  
• Shift differentials available for night, weekend, and additional shifts
  
• Location: Bone & Joint Hospital - OKC
  
  Responsibilities:
  
  • 
    
  • Check, clean and maintain anesthesia machine monitors, including changing oxygen cylinders, refilling anesthesia gases, and changing CO2 absorbent
    
  • Assist in set-ups of anesthesia equipment as needed
    
  • Order, obtain, and stock sterile solution surgical supplies to specified storage cabinets
    
  • Ensure anesthesia carts are appropriately stocked
    
  • Ensure malfunctioning equipment is serviced and proper infection control and regulatory guidelines are followed
    
  • Assist in operating room turn-over by disinfecting anesthesia work surfaces, monitor cables, and connecting a clean anesthesia circuit to the anesthesia machine

    • High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
      
    • No experience required
      
      Physical Requirements:
      
      • 
        
      • Constant standing and walking
        
      • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs
        
      • Frequent reaching and gripping
        
      • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors
