Job Description:

Modis is looking for a talented Electrical Engineer for our aviation client in Tulsa.  
 
Basic responsibilities include:  
• Specify or develop tools, test fixtures, and automated test stands as needed for new products  
• Design, Develop, code, test, and debug software.  
• Evaluate cost efficient test solutions within-house vs. outsourced determination.  
• Troubleshoot hardware issues discovered during production and determine corrective action.  
• Create and maintain Electrical documentation (schematics, wiring diagrams, and drawings) 
• Provide engineering support and technical guidance to production.  
• Create test instructions and procedures for component testing and repairs. Assist in training
maintenance staff in the proper usage of equipment.
 
Requirements:  
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering;
• 1-2 plus years of experience preferred  
• Knowledge of measurement instrumentation, test fixtures, computer based DAQ, use of
electrical measurement equipment - Oscilloscopes, volt meters, etc., sensors - pressure,
temperature, flow, rotation, force, etc. 
• Experience with Graphical User Interface development. 
• Working knowledge of computer SW like Visual Basic, C++, C#, and/or Lab View  
• Proven ability to manage design projects with daily assignments  
• Knowledge of aircraft wiring and connectors is a plus  
• Strong communication skills; verbal and written  
• Ability to work in a team setting  
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
