ProKatchers is seeking a travel nurse RN Trauma ICU for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements

• Employment Type: Travel Skills: Required Skills & Experience: -1 year of experience. -Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques and procedures. -Ability to organize, plan, coordinate and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques. -Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees. -Good verbal and written communication skills. -Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors. -Some computer skills. Preferred Skills & Experience: -N/A Education: Required Education: -Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Preferred Education: -Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program. Required Certifications & Licensure: -Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC). -Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association. -ACLS (American Heart Association). Preferred Certifications & Licensure: -N/A Schedule Notes: Must have TRAUMA experience in an ICU. Although OU health requires some Trauma experience, this manager wants to make sure that the candidates have actual experience working in a Trauma 1 ICU unit (not just a facility that is Trauma 1). Travel experience is also required in this unit. Prefer nurses with TNCC TCRN. Experience in Level 1 Trauma and cardiac. If candidates do not have level 1 trauma experience, a combination of neuro AND cardio will be considered.
