  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week
  • Weekdays mostly between the hours of 7:00am-4:30pm
  • Schedule can vary depending on warm-up schedule and patient load Weekend shifts during equipment upgrades and variable holidays
    
    JOB SUMMARY:
    
    Under general supervision, administers radiation therapy treatments to patients. Accuracy in positioning the beam of radiation to correspond with the designated tumor volume and accurately delivering the prescribed dose are paramount job functions. Adherence to all regulatory standards required.
    
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • A current ARRT certification or registry eligible is required.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
    • Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hire PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
      • Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials.
      • Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking, standing, and dealing with stressful situations.
      • Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the phone.
      • Able to frequently lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel.
      • Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care.
      • Possesses fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care.
