Overview: Compensation / Benefits
- $27.84-$45.46/hr. based on previous work experience.
- Evening differential $2.50/hr.
- Night differential $3.00/hr.
- Weekend differential $3.00/hr.

for advancement.Our Med/Surg Observation Unit is a fast paced 16
bed telemetry/medical-surgical unit. - -Common problems seen in our
unit include chest pain, syncope, congestive heart failure,
pneumonia, and diabetes. - -Our nurse patient ratio ranges from 4-6
patients depending on acuity. - Our care team includes a charge
nurse and unit assistants with support from respiratory, lab, and
case management departments. -We orient new nurses to our unit by
providing a 6-8 week orientation program with a dedicated preceptor
team, complemented by classroom courses, and a nurse residency

Responsibilities: Job SummaryRN essential functions include, but

Systematically assesses / reassesses the health care needs of
individuals; appropriate for specific age groups and patient
conditions. Involves patient, family and other healthcare providers
as appropriate - - - - - - - - - Nursing Diagnosis and Outcomes -
Analyzes assessment to determine nursing diagnosis and expected
outcomes, involving patient, family and other healthcare providers
as appropriate. - - - - - - - - - Implementation and Coordination
of Care - Provides nursing care through interventions to achieve
goals and needs using professional judgement guided by current
evidence-based practice, regulations and policy - - - - - - - - -
Evaluation - Evaluates patient outcomes by utilizing the critical
thinking process and evidence based knowledge to recognize

PracticeQualificationsEducationDiploma or Associate's degree (ADN)
required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Master's of
Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.ExperiencePrevious experience in
healthcare field preferred.Licensure/CertificationCurrent Oklahoma
Registered Nurse license. -Basic Life Support (BLS) training or
retraining is required during orientation prior to providing
patient care. -Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be
maintained thru re-training for duration of employmentOther
Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesNew grads are required to complete Norman
Regional's Nurse Residency Program. Qualifications: Education
- Diploma or Associate's degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of
Science in Nursing (BSN), or
- Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred. - -Experience
- Previous hospital experience helpful preferred. -(Above
requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and
experience). - -Licensure / Certification
- Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required
during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained
thru re-training for duration of employment.Other Knowledge /
Skills / Abilities
- New grads are required to complete Norman Regional's Nurse
Residency Program.
