• Operate the CT scanner safely and proficiently.
• Obtain a high standard of imaging and positioning.
• Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow.
• Transport patients to and from the department.
• Communicate with physicians, patients, families, and other hospital personnel.
• Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system.Qualifications
  • Technical or Associate's radiography degree.
  • Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT. If registry eligible upon hire, you must become registered within one year of employment.
  • Active BLS certification.Preferred Qualifications
    • One year of CT Tech experience.
    • Advanced certification in CT.
