Job Summary:

As a Cardiovascular Specialist at Hillcrest Hospital South, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides state-of-the-art technology in a friendly, community setting. Our hospital offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services for all ages, including emergency, intensive care, stroke, cardiology, maternity, orthopedics, and surgery. The ideal candidate will have a Graduate degree from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology school and be certified by ARRT, RCIS or RCES. In addition to strong communication and interpersonal skills, experience in a related field is preferred. The successful candidate will assist physicians and coworkers with performing complex procedures, educate patients and team members, and maintain a sterile and clean work environment.

Responsibilities:

--- Assist in catheterization procedures by monitoring patient vitals and recording patient information
--- Perform duties as a scrub assistant and assist in retrieving supplies and operating equipment
--- Educate patients and team members as needed
--- Accurately process results and stock inventory
--- Provide patient care for all ages
--- Participate in CQI processes for performance improvement
--- Maintain a sterile and clean work environment

Qualifications:

--- Graduate degree from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology school
--- ARRT, RCIS or RCES certification
--- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
--- Preference for experience in a related field
