Job Description:

Fulfill your purpose at Hillcrest Medical Center as a Patient Care Tech, providing compassionate care to patients and contributing to a collaborative team environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs, working under the supervision of nursing and medical staff.
• Observe patients' progress and prepare reports for Registered Nurses or other medical staff.
• Collect patients' vital signs and specimens for lab tests, and provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
• Measure and record patients' intake and output, assist with range of motion, and draw blood.Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED, and Basic Life Support certification.
  • Competence in at least two general areas of practice, with the ability to perform in multiple hospital services, roles, or functions.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Completion of approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification, or currently enrolled in nursing school.
    • Minimum of two years of experience in acute or long-term care.
