Performance Period: December 1, 2015 or award date to November 30, 2016
BE/BE IM or FP Hospitalist services
Hours of duty:
Weekdays: Monday to Friday from 6 pm to 8 am the following day (14 hours shifts for 5 days/week)
Weekends: Saturday from 8 am to Monday at 8 am (12 hours shifts for 2 days for a total of 48 hours)
Federal Holidays: Holiday from 8 am until 8 am the following day (12 hour shifts for 1 days for a total of 24 hours)

ACLS/BLS required
Services required:
---Providing care for inpatients with a variety of chronic and acute conditions in Medical Service. Also Inpatient care shall include Surgical, Mental Health and Community Living Center for acute changes in conditions or responding to codes. Psychiatrist and Gerontologist on-call shall be contacted for routine needs for patients in acute mental health and nursing home care unit beds.
---Performs history and physicals, progress notes, and general medicine inpatient consults.
---Refers patients to other specialty care as required.
---Orders prescriptions, labs, x-rays and other pertinent tests.
---Completes documentation requirements in a timely manner as per policy.
---Contract Physician shall complete a discharge summary on each patient that he/she personally orders to be discharged. It is anticipated that nearly all hospital discharges shall occur during normal business hours.
---Contract Physician will respond to code blue calls and lead team.
