TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PICU RN in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73104 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric ICU Job Specialty: Pediatrics Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 3 X 12-hour shifts Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience License: Current RN License issued by the State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC) Certifications: - Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) by the American Heart Association Must-Have: - Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures - Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques - Good verbal and written communication skills - Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors - Some computer skills Job Description: - Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients in a hospital setting - Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments; note all changes in physician orders for assigned patients - Assist physicians in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments - Obtain and monitor physiological data from patients, observe physiological manifestations, and intervene when necessary - Administer medication as prescribed; initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products - Deliver competent patient care - Interact with family and patients to share care plans during hospital stays and at discharge - Inform patients and families about hospital procedures - Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel - Delegate tasks to support staff - Perform other duties as assigned 25964073EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
