Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY A hospital system in Southwest Florida is seeking a PRN Operating Room Registered Nurse to deliver nursing care in patient care situations using established policies and procedures.

Plan and implement nursing care in patient care situations
Provide direct nursing care to patients
Assume teaching and leadership responsibilities
Participate in unit committee and quality improvement activities
Capable of identifying standards of care common to patient population REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Florida
- One year of recent OR experience is required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
