The OP Speech Therapist essential functions include, but are not limited to:

• Develops a treatment plan and/or appropriate follow-up by performing initial and ongoing assessment of the patient's condition.
• Provides speech therapy services.
• Documents delivery of speech therapy services.
• Attends patient care meetings and actively participates in planning for the provision of speech/language services
• Works across departments to maintain daily workflow for provision of Speech/Language Pathology Services.
• Assists departmental leadership in ensuring quality Speech/Language Pathology services.
• Supervision of SLP-A in outpatient setting, to include direct and indirect patient caseload coordination.   • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology. - Required
  • Current Oklahoma license for Speech-Language Pathology or SLP license eligible with a temporary license, or eligible for a temporary license. - Required
  • Must have ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence or complete with in the first year under a licensed therapist as a CFY.
  • Previous experience in hospital setting. - Preferred
  • Experience with outpatients, pediatric feeding, dysphagia management, Vital Stim certification and Medicare documentation. - Preferred.
  • BLS - Required
