Non-Negotiable Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification.
5-7 years of tax experience within public accounting.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Extensive knowledge of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations.
Actively stays up-to-date on the tax industry's evolving regulations and policies.
Self-starter who thrives both independently and in collaborative environments.
Strong focus on complex tasks and a rapid grasp of firm compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities

A typical day as a Tax Manager in Oklahoma City, OK might involve:
Preparing, reviewing, and signing individual, business, and other types of tax returns across varied entities and industries.
Collaborating with the tax team to ensure seamless tax planning, client interaction, and execution of special projects.

Mentoring and providing technical training to colleagues within the tax department.
