POSITION OVERVIEW
The Oklahoma State Department of Education is seeking a highly organized and dynamic Project Director for the College and Career Readiness Assessments (CCRA). The Project Director will manage the CCRA contracts, work collaboratively with various offices within the agency, and support Local Education Agencies (LEAs) to ensure that high school seniors meet the assessment requirements necessary for graduation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Public Administration, or a closely related field [official transcripts required upon hire];
  • Three (3) years experience in educational assessment, project management, or a related field;
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Knowledge & Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of Oklahoma's College and Career Readiness Assessments (CCRA) and how they align with state education standards and graduation requirements.
    • Contract Management: Manage and oversee CCRA contracts to ensure compliance with state requirements.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other offices within the Oklahoma State Department of Education, as well as LEAs, to ensure that high school seniors are aware of and can complete the required assessments for graduation.
    • Assessment Development and Oversight: Lead the development and ongoing oversight of the CCRA US History Assessment.
    • Communication and Outreach: Develop and distribute clear communication regarding the Citizenship test requirements to schools, educators, and students.
    • Professional Demeanor: Exhibit a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude.
    • Attendance: Ensure reliable and punctual in-person presence for quality teamwork, productivity, and collaboration.
    • Innovation: Identify and address evolving needs and challenges in education.
    • Efficiency: Maximize resource utilization and streamline operations.
    • Superior Customer Service: Go above and beyond to deliver exceptional assistance that surpasses expectations.

      PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
      Location: Oliver Hodge Building, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

      • Work is typically performed in a climate-controlled office setting with exposure to moderate noise.
      • Ability to lift to 25 lbs.

        TRAVEL
        Occasional (up to 10%) in-state/out-of-state travel may be required.
