One of Oklahoma's top hospitals is seeking an experienced Hospital Director Case Management for their facility near Chickasha, Oklahoma. This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of case management, utilization review, discharge planning, and social services. You will play a key role in coordinating the delivery of quality services while overseeing the financial resources of patients and families, ensuring financial reimbursement for every case. The Hospital Director Case Management will lead and develop the case management staff, manage relationships with payers, physicians, and hospital referral sources, and serve as an advocate for patients and families throughout the discharge planning process. Key responsibilities of the Hospital Director Case Management include developing and implementing department policies, procedures, and goals, preparing annual plans and budgets, and analyzing physician utilization patterns. The Hospital Director Case Management will also ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and documentation requirements, as well as maintain necessary files for peer reviews and audits. You ll be responsible for facilitating on-site reviews by external organizations such as PRO, Blue Cross, and other third-party payers. Additionally, you will maintain a strong working relationship with local, state, and federal agencies to support the hospital's role in the community. The ideal candidate for the Hospital Director Case Management will be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Social Worker with clinical healthcare experience in an acute-care or rehabilitation setting. A strong understanding of Total Quality Management (TQM) and Quality Improvement (QI) is essential, along with recent experience in case management within insurance, workers' compensation, or medical management environments.
