Job Description:
Duties * You will perform various duties in the supply
administration at the Marine Artillery Detachment, as well as
support to warehouse activities. Work involves property
accountability, inventory management of various types of Government
property. * You will maintain an inventory of government vehicles,
office supplies and furniture, combat equipment, weapons systems,
special tools, computer equipment and safety equipment. Inventory
categories may change or expand to meet command needs. * You will
perform various duties which include receiving, locating, issuing,
shipping, purchasing, disposal of supplies and equipment in the
Command's supply operations. * You will collect and analyze
purchase requests for supplies to be purchased using the Government
Purchase Card Program (GPCP). Maintain current and past purchase
documentation and file records in accordance with Marine Corps and
Army standards. * You will review, validate, and revise shopping
list information prior to each purchase and ensures all
transactions meet required source of supply, cost, quality of
product. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Must be a US
Citizen. * Must be determined suitable for federal employment. *
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. * New employees
to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass

jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level.

* Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of
retired military members within 180 days immediately following
retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions
of 5 United States Code 3326. * Males born after 12-31-59 must be
registered for Selective Service. * Regular working hours are from
0800 to 1700, however the schedule is based on command
requirements. There will be days that require a flexible schedule
that can include early mornings, late evenings, and some weekends.
Not to exceed 8 hour shifts. * You will be required to obtain and
maintain a current valid United States driver's license. * You will
be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security
clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain
the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a
job offer or removal. * Must be able to pass all minimum
requirements for eligibility to obtain a GCPC account, to include a
credit check. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least
one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06
grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent
experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience
must demonstrate the following: knowledge of supply operations,
program requirements, and the ability to apply established supply
policies, day-to-day servicing techniques, regulations, or
procedures in support of an organization's requirements. Additional
