Description:Position Overview:Bill Knight Collision is looking
to add a Collision Body Technician who is self-motivated and has
high personal goals and objectives to our family. We are looking
for a skilled Auto Body Technician to work on vehicles in a
fast-paced auto body shop environment. As a Collision Body
Technician, you'll perform vehicle repairs as assigned in
accordance with manufacturer and industry standards. Bill Knight
Collision uses industry leading production process that result in
additional workflow for the technician allowing for greater
opportunity to earn more money.Requirements:Position Duties:Works
and communicates with others on vehicle repair and statusPerforms
quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mindAbility to use
frame machinePerforming work as outlined on repair ordersPerforming
welding, body alignment, frame/unibody repairs, and cosmetic panel
repairsOperating all equipment in the collision center in a safe
and productive mannerFollowing Safety Standards for the use of
personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses, gloves,
hearing protection) while working on the production floorInspecting
all work performed as a Quality Control (QC) measure as soon as
jobs are completedMixing all chemicals according to manufacturer
directions/specificationsIntegrate into a blueprint model in which
you might not disassemble the car you are working on
Qualifications/Experience:I-CAR Certification in body repair
preferredKnowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer (OEM
Certified Preferred)I-CAR welding certifiedSkill in analyzing and
interpreting measuring data1 Year Collision Repair ExperienceMust
be able to operate a vehicle legallyGenuine interest in providing
an exceptional customer experienceFriendliness, enthusiasm,
reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitudeStrong
work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven
environmentSafe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
